Bob Oedy

Bob Oedy is an American musician and founding member of The Grim. In 2017, The Grim were inducted into the Ventura County Music Awards Hall of Fame. As well as being the band’s long-term guitarist, Oedy went on to found punk rock band Glue Gun. His songs have appeared in motion pictures and videogames. Oedy is an award-winning author best known for his nonfiction writing. In 2019 he won the Beverly Hills Book Award “Careers” category for The Million Dollar Organizer. Bob Oedy, Owner of Union Organizer Press, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in union leadership. Oedy works internationally as a labor union organizer. He graduated from the National Labor College in Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labor Studies. One of Oedy’s proudest accomplishments was completing a four-year union apprenticeship program with perfect attendance. He earned an Associate in Science Degree in Electronics from Pierce College. Oedy is a proud parent to five young adults and lives with his wife Leslie in the San Fernando Valley. His hobbies are public speaking, writing, podcasting, and camping.

THE GRIM

THE GRIM were inducted into the Ventura County Music Hall of Fame in 2017. In 2018 Oedy’s song COP KILLER was used in a punk horror film called THE RANGER. The Grim were Guests of Honor at the movie premiere in Beverly Hills. The motion picture soundtrack was later released on limited edition “hot pink” vinyl by Creep Records. In 2019 THE GRIM released their first full length album in 30 years with NUCLEAR WORLD ORDER through Sound Speed Records.

GLUE GUN

Glue Gun released their second album The Scene Is Not for Sale in 1995 which was available on 12” vinyl, CD and cassette. Glue Gun appeared on the Punk Sucks compilation record on Liberation Records in 1995. Glue Gun toured the U.S. in 1996 completing the tour with a festival show in Las Vegas, Nevada supporting Strung Out. In 1996 Glue Gun contributed one song to the Punk Bites compilation on Fearless Records. Their music has appeared in Motocross videos and videogames. In 2016 Glue Gun played a charity event with Rikk Agnew at Punk Rock Swap Meet in support of underprivileged kids.
